[Bug 2064689] [NEW] Fix inaudible HDMI/DP audio on USB-C MST dock
Public bug reported: [Impact] HDMI/DP audio isn't working on Dell's USB-C dock. [Fix] Leave Maud/Naud as is, since the hardware programmed the right value already. [Bug 1976503] [NEW] Power cycle USB ports on shutdown/reboot
Public bug reported: [Impact] USB storage can be stuck in USB reset loop after reboot. More reboots don't help the situation, unless it's re-plugged. [Bug 1971576] Re: SATA device hot plug regression on AMD EPYC (Asus) server
According to AHCI spec v1.3.1, "7.3 Native Hot Plug Support", once LPM is enabled the hotplug needs to be disabled. So I agree with 2), I think we should write document and let users know how to change the LPM for hotplugging detection. For 3) I don't think we need to change the way it works, because there can be lots of corner cases to cover, and not all servers need AHCI hotplug feature. We just need a good documentation to instruct users how to disable it. 4) is kicking the can down the road, the same issue will re-appear once those servers get upgraded. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1971576 Title: SATA device hot plug regression on AMD EPYC (Asus) server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1971576/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
