Ubuntu 16.04 should be released with ffmpeg 3.0 as default. For VLC you
could release renamed ffmpeg packages(like _2.8 as ubuntu does with many
packages) or add ffmpeg as part of vlc(and renamed libs) or just compile
it static-ffmpeg and vlc are gpl so no problem. When vlc resolves ffmpeg
3.0 compatibility, there could be simple update

[Bug 1477552] [NEW] gnome-screenshot hangs at taking a screenshot

I'm using the Unity desktop and since yesterday every time I take a
screenshot with gnome-screenshot, it crashes while taking it. Means, the
whole screen is white and doesn't fades out again. This problem is even
there if I only shoot an area of the screen. The flash just stays at the
area I've had marked before. But the save-dialog appers; although I
can't use it. I've taken a screenshot of this problem using scrot, I
attached it.

That's really annoying, I can only close it with Alt+F4 or Ctrl-C. Is
this a known bug or am I doing something false? :D I also reinstalled
gnome-screenshot, but this didn't change anything.

i have installed bumblebee and latest available nvidia driver: nvidia-331
on nvidia site i read this video card needs at least 337 driver version

sometimes when i open activities mode in gnome-shell it freeze out for couple 
seconds and paint all of my windows from all workspaces one above the other
also some of processes of google-chrome crashes every time when i start it, but 
except message about error it works as should in my view
games does not work

As I am WordPress plugin developer I need program to be in zip file.When
I create zip file with ark the php/WordPress always show me error The
package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to
find End of Central Dir Record signature.

If same folder I create with wine(7zip) program it will work.So I think
there is some bug for creating zip with ark.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Right click on folder.
2.Create zip file
3.Upload zip file to WordPress plugin management will give error.

Actual Results:  
 The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to 
find End of Central Dir Record signature.


Expected Results:  
The zip file should be extracted by php/WordPress. As it is working fine with 
Wine(7Zip).

I have also file bug on ark application.After investigation they told me
that this is problem of kubuntu packaging.See report here

POODLE we disabled SSLv3 on server and Evolution could no longer connect.
Proper TLS support is available after patching with

I patched, built and installed and SSL/TLS now working in Ubuntu 14.04 with 
evolution-data-server-3.10.4

Public bug reported:

After ctrl+c (copy), ctrl+v (paste) -ing a file a number of times, I
went to rename the duplicates. The Rename... menu option in the right
click menu was greyed out erroneously; the option still worked when
clicked however.

Not that this caused me any problems, I figure a less obstinate person
might be fooled into not doin what they want - bad.

Bug got after this steps:
1) Start Ubuntu
2) After logging system display message about crashing apt-daemon (Ubuntu show 
that it is a known bug)/
3) Close the error window about crashing apt-daemon
4) Start update-manager manually.
5) System display error message with information of this bug.

Bug did not reproduced after update system

I cann`t test software, which not in standart repository, because Ubuntu
