The applet is back on my panel but I'll give some information. Before an update yesterday, I was able to see the applet simply by using the 2.6.27-7-generic kernel (intrepid). However, it wasn't here after a reboot with the jaunty kernel. Maybe the issue was caused by my hardware : an intel chipset (ASUS P5K) with a M AUDIO DELTA 1010 LITE. I'm saying this because my sound card wasn't working with pulseaudio on intrepid. If nobody has this problem anymore, I think we can close that bug report. I read the ~/.xsession-errors but nothing concerning the mixer-applet. Since I don't know how to use gdb, could you tell me how to do it ? I tried to figure out the command-line to show the applets-dialog, and I found the panel-test-applets. I tried the 1.7.0 on intrepid and the bug is still there. I guess it should be fixed because many softwares, and specialy score editors, are using the MusicXML format for importing / exporting (like noteedit / canorus, Print Music, Sibelius ...). A good way to reproduce the issue is to draw a dialog box with only a file chooser control. Nothing happens when you click on it in preview mode. And when running a macro, a message tells me that the external file picker is missing. I tried the driver form the D-Link CD and the latest available, the result was the same. Thanks for your answer, but I still have a problem. Here is to how to reproduce the issue (on hardy). Create a new project. Draw a three-measure staff. Insert a marker at the first period and name it Test. Open the markers editor. Insert a new marker at the third period and name it Test 2. Click on Test or Test 2 and add a new marker. At this point, you should have a new marker at the same time as Test or Test 2, named New marker. The bug happens when you change the value of the period (from 3 to 2 or 1 to 2) and rename the marker, like Result. The new marker is okay, but the marker you clicked on just before will be renamed to new marker instead of keeping the original name. After some research on configuring the Samsung YP-U3, it seems the only thing
to do is to add those lines in the files

However, that allows only amarok to see the device.

[Bug 64143] Kaffeine doesn't manage audio channels on MP4
I have exactly the same bug has described above, but with mp4 files. The audio and subtitles selection is restricted to auto, and some blank spaces (as many as there streams). When I click on the first blank under auto for the audio, nothing happens. When I try the second one, I got no sound and after a while, the auto is selected. When I plug in a usb-stick (Sandisk Cruzer Mini) using a fat32 file- system, Konqueror pops up, ask me what to do and after choosing to browse the media, a new window opens. However, when I plug in a hard-drive (Hitachi IDE 120 Go) installed in an external box (enermax) with USB 2.0 connection, the kde deamon pops up, ask me what to do, but after choosing to browse, nothing happen. Here some news. First, I have made a bad analysis of the bug, the problem isn't coming from the updating of adept. Plus, the bug occurs during an update to gutsy. When I lanch an update, I have an error message notifying me that all packages weren't correctly installed (just 1% ...) Here is the list of the packages configured when running apt-get install -f libc6-i686 (2.5-11ubuntu1) ... x11-common (7.2-0ubuntu11) ... libasound2 (1.0.14-1ubuntu3) ... libart-2.0-2 (2.3.19-3) ... libartsc0 (1.5.7-1ubuntu2) ... libsm6 (1.0.3-1) ... Another error and I had to run sudo dpkg --configure -a After that I had to alternate between apt-get and dpkg to configure my os. The video cards used are GeForce 6 series (6200 Go PCIE and 6600 LE AGP8x) I got the bug with the nvidia drivers (linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20(21 and 22)-generic with the nvidia-glx package. Since I won't have my computers for some days, I can't confirm the bug with the vesa and nv drivers, but if I remember correctly, the same bug happened. I never tried with totem-gstreamer, because I was unable to watch movies encoded with the x264 codec. I couldn't find any gstreamer-x264 package and got no help from totem (like when you insert a dvd for the first time) I hope those infos will help you, and if it's not the case, just tell me and I'll try to complete my bug report as soon as I can. Hi. I'm sorry to tell you that I only have firefox and usplash logs in /var/crash. I suppose they've been deleted somehow without me going in the folder (is it possible, and if it's the case, what must I do to prevent it from happening in the future ?) I'll try to install a new Kubuntu Feisty this week-end, update it and be careful about the crash reports. If I can't reproduce it, I'll tell you quickly. Just a question about crash reports, are they all logged in /var/crash ? [Bug 120797] Error when copying some files from an ext3 partition to fat32 using konqueror

When I try to copy this folder : /home/vivien/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/.inbox.directory/.My friends.directory/N.Fréd/cur I get an error message telling me that writing on the partition is impossible with the name of the file. To be able to copy this folder, I create an archive, I copy it on my fat32 partition and decompress it. There is no problem since I use the mouse and makes the bottom navigation bar appear. When I move out the mouse from the bar, the part where the video plays disappear, unlike the others (borders). To make the whole bar disappear, I press F twice. This bug is particulary visible with 16/10 screens. However, when I try to open a table (or simply to see an overview), the software works for seconds, then crashes.
