The monitor is LG Flatron L1752TQ 17 inches, but I sad before that none of the distros I have tried worked, but it is not true anymore, mandriva was the only one that worked. Hmm, I do see where the image is cut off on the right. Sounds like a monitor modeline problem. Can you tell us your exact monitor model?
