Same problem for me with XPS 15 (9550). 4.13.0-25 has no problems, upgraded to 4.13.0-31 and hard-freezes in a minute or so. Currently trying to upgrade to 4.13.0-32 to test. I've no problems running 4.13.0-25-generic on my XPS 13 with Ubuntu 17.10 I first noticed the freeze during boot after an upgrade to 4.13.0-30-generic. Updates to 4.13.0-31-generic and just now to 4.13.0-32-generic (4.13.0-32.35) did not help to fix the problem. Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
