After upgrading to 10.10 maverick, I am having this issue too with clipboard redirection. After rebooting the remote Windows Server 2003, it seems to be working all right. hmmm ... this also appears to be occurring to some extent when copying text in the remote session, but only slows the machine down for a small amount of time (say 10 seconds) instead of minutes or more.
