Hi, I'm trying to use a GSM phone Nokia 6260 to send SMS with kannel. Here it is: --- group = modems id = 6260 name = 6260 detect-string = Nokia detect-string2 = 6260 need-sleep = true init-string = AT+CNMI=2,1,0,0,0 message-storage = SM --- I don't understand how receive and where, the incoming messages. Thanks again. 2007/11/9, Alejandro Guerrieri [EMAIL PROTECTED]: You need to change the init sequence, obviously your phone does not support AT+CNMI=1,2,0,1,0 Each phone model has its caveats with that init string, you should check your phone's docs and change the string accordingly. Maybe someone else has experience with some similar Nokia device? Hi, I'm testing kannel in this days. Is there a chance to use one of those two mobiles(Nokia 6260, N70) to send SMS? I can connect them using usb. Thanks. -- .:FaberK:.

Hi folks,this is my first setup of kannel...My hardware is:1) Asterisk server, up and running - 10.0.0.1962) Netsynt GSM Gateway - 10.0.0.249 I've tryed first to use smsq, with no luck. Now I would like to setup kannel.I'm in Italy, if somebody in this list, has some sample files, I'll be very glad!I'm following the userguide, with no result, except that the browser reply that the message is sent, but nothing happen...!!!
