those from Supermicro, but there are others.

I finally gave up and made a direct install stick.
That did not work with FC22 Xfce's spin either.
Wouldn't boot for its life.

So I switched to the (really weird) FC22 gnome spin
and that worked perfectly. I then group installed
Xfce and it has been fine since. It boots
everything that will boot a USB.

FC21's Xfce live did not have this problem, either
on Live USB or direct install.

Basically FC22 Xfce is only good for creating Live
DVD's.

Thats pretty weird to me. It works fine for me here in all my tests.

Additionally, the F22 Xfce spin is made with the exact same
livecd-tools, kernel, anaconda and packages that the workstation one is
made from. The only difference is the package set. Booting and such
should be the exact same on both.

Never had a problem boot any of the above off HP's
el-cheap-o computers, which puzzled me greatly.

A lot of the issues are that FC22 Live sets up
grub.cfg to device by its direct dev (/dev/sda)
instead of by its UUID. Gnome does UUID.
The sdx floats all over the place, depending
on what computer you install it into.

But switching to UUID only solved some issues.

Right now, it is not a big issue for me. I did
the direct install to an old fashioned partitions
and can use the stick as a flash drive as well
as a boot stick. I am tickled to death with it
and use it about three time a week on customer
sites. I have it cherried out to my needs.

I guessing you used a third party tool to get it onto the usb?

If it's liveusb-creator (originally by Luke Macken),
bugzilla would probably be the way to go similat to this F21 bz:

Does everyone else here already know about http://forum.xfce.org/
index.php ?? (I didn't till this afternoon.) I suspect it's one reason
this list (which I follow, as I do everything I can, on Gmane) carries so
much les traffic than Gmane's fedora.general.

As a consultant you should know the answer to this... it depends.

If the problem is large with what seems to be multiple items then the
report should probably start on the list and then with guidance on if
the problem is repeatable by others those components in bugzilla. If
the problem is not repeatable then it can be good to figure out why
only certain systems are seeing it.

If the problem is with a specific application in the spin, then file
it in bugzilla on that application.
