Hi Jason,
We use the Polycom SoundPoint PC mic/speaker combo, however it is no longer
manufactured. My company has a number of these units in stock that we use for
building our own nodes. Please contact me directly if you are interested in
acquiring one.
We also carry refurbished Gentner AP
Hello,
I am supporting an upcoming conference that will be based in Croatia and
have participating nodes from Austria, Germany, and England. The nodes
in Zagreb and in Vienna are new to AG and we are doing a lot of testing
to get the bugs worked out before the end of the month.
Two questions:
AGSchedule and the NCSA AG 2 Venues Server will be unavailable Friday, May
13, 2005 at 9pm CDT for a short time to switch to a different power
source. We apologize for any incovenience.
Thanx,

Darin,
Yeah, most of our windows only nodes are single machine nodes. Having
multiple cards has not been a problem for those machines. for a multiple
node setup, all you need to do is make sure that the AGServiceManager is
running on the remote machines and connect to them with the Node
Hi everybody,
A suggestion poped up at the AG retreat on organizing an AG
session for network staff.
The idea is to have one person or more share knowledge,
how-tos, tips, etc...on AG network support. How does that
sound? Is there anyone out there willing to lead such
session? Node operators too
I am working on this myself right now. We have used multiple Osprey
100's successfully in the past, and we currently just purchased a
Winnov Videum Quattro to do 4 s-video inputs on one card. I am still
working on getting it to work with VFW drivers so that it can play
nicely with VIC.

Darin,
We use Osprey cards in all our nodes. Be careful of those that have audio
on-board, they can sometimes get switched around and then RAT is looking at
the wrong jack... We use the 100 and 200 cards with some older drivers
that are more stable.
Hope this helps

Unfortunately, what I really need is something that will capture using
s-video. The Winnov cards use BNC. Has anybody had success in setting
up multiple capture cards on an XP machine? If so, which cards did you
use?
Thanks again,
Darin

Barry,
Try this:
Once your video vic is running and showing a black screen, click the menu
button in that vic
Then in the Encoder section click the Options button
One of the choices is Configure on Transmit, click to make sure it's selected
Then click the Release button in the Transmission
I am using the winnov videum 4400 quad card and thanks to Tom it is working
nicely
