The ebuild should depend on virtual/libc. Gentoo has deprecated
virtual/glibc.

For all multicast addresses it should be 224.0.0.0/4 instead of /8.

Exception: AGTkConfig: app dir does not exist.
I fixed this by creating the /etc/AccessGrid/SharedApplications dir.
Not the smoothest install I've ever done, but the AGtk 2.3 now
works on my gentoo box.

You can try to sever the linein-lineout passthrough by doing something
like:

You might need to do a

We've tested with the Intel 8xx audio chipset and the es1370. Alsa/rat
doesn't particularly like the either chipsets but there is a workaround

We've tested with a regular hauppage bttv chipset, videum 4400 VO, and
the falcon quattro. All work.

I've seen this behavior with some cards and the later kernel OSS
drivers. It might be worth moving to ALSA and using the rat/ALSA patch
to detect the card.

Something's very strange here. The bsddb python module should be

For one thing, rat requires a local multicast loopback to communicate.
So you'll need to allow either
iptables -A INPUT -s 224.0.0.0/4 -j ACCEPT
or
iptables -A OUTPUT -d 224.0.0.0/4 -j ACCEPT
or both possibly.
That's a first guess.
