Hi Vijay, I am pretty sure the commons attribute plugin was removed to accomodate the Java 5 annotations samples. Ben mentioned that using Java 5 compiler and the commons-attributes plugin would cause errors. We discussed disabling that plugin so that we could properly build the Java 5

The CVS head version has the dependency set to version of 1.0.2 for xjavadoc, so you would be better building the latest version. Is there a particular reason why you want version 0.8.3? And are you specifically interested in the attributes example? 1.0 isn't on ibiblio - you can just browse to
