Hi, since we moved our active directory environment from windows 2000 to windows 2003 we see a backup error with D:\windows\ntds\temp.edb. File is open and can not be saved The file is described somewhere in the web as a scratchpad for AD. I wonder if the file is needed for recovery. If not

Windows 98 is no longer supported with TSM. The last client version that suppoted Win98 was 4.2. You can still find the download at ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/patches/client/v4r2. Go to the URL, and you should be able to navigate the rest of the way to the last

OK, that is in agreement with what the ANR0919E message is telling you, though I have no idea how you could end up with file spaces with no names. Can you paste in the exact output from the SELECT statement, as well as output from QUERY FILESPACE F=D, for one or two of these problem nodes?
