We have 2 methods:
1. is the simple backup with TSm Client in thae virtual machine/
2. WE have esx virtual machines on Netapp storage, we take snapshot (the
nettapp know to take it consisstencly).
Then we backup the snapshot.
It works very good we test it !

I Do it in unix os, this is sample of my configuration.
1. on tsm server register 3 diffrent node names . I use 2 diff schedules so
I register 2 different node names (node1 and node2)
I assoc each node to different schedular.
2. On the node I want to backup I configured one dsm.sys
After Unload and load database 5.3.5 on windows.
When I triy to delete dbbackup records from volume history I get:
DELETE VOLHISTORY: 0 sequential volume history entries were

Hello,
You have to check in the 6 char. Volumes by reading the label from the
tape!!!
All the old tapes will be with 6 char.. And the new one with 8.
