Another way to look at it can be Veritas vs TSM at Veritas web site. It
might not be the right approach, only a way to see the differences two
ways...

Hello, we are using TSM 4.2.3.0 under OS/390.
Actually we are using an SMS robot system with 3490 drives. Here we have
defined two storage pools, a primary one and a copy one.
We have decided to install an VTS storage system.
How does it migrates from one system to another?

Hello,
I am receving Failed Domino Backup for few days ago.
I am using TDP for Domino V1.1.2, in a Windows NT Box.

Search www.adsm.org for VTS.
There is a lot of discussion on why VTS may not be a good solution for ADSM,

Wagner,
The Domino server has a hold on this database. It is not
allowing Data Protection for Domino to open it.
Try opening it with a Notes Client to see if you get the same error.
If that doesn't help, try rebooting your Domino Server.
If that doesn't clear it, call Lotus support.
Thanks,

Great Stuff, will schedule reboot, one thing I have just noticed in the

TSM can give very quick restores, but beware fragmentation in uncollocated
tape pools. We had to rebuild a small (350GB) unix server last year that
required upward of 300 tape mounts, and finding a single file in the middle
of each tape. It took days.
Since then I have gotten funding to buy

Thats true.
When we installed our first 3590's, we had to greatly increate the MIH

I would still check into the microcode level, though !

Do it!
Run managedservices webclient schedule. I'd advise upgrading to the 5.1.5.6
client to avoid an potential problem with the client trying to grap an
invalid port, I believe it was an nwipcport error.
Other than that it's been good, helped with the memory release issue a lot.

Hi TSMers,

I feel silly asking this question but I know the answer would be known to
