*Linux Kernel Developer* *Long term contract (18 month+)* *Redwood City*** We are looking for a mid level developer that can debug, design and develop code such as kernel fixes, kernel drivers and low level C code libraries. Good understanding of iterative software development and mobile device user interfaces is very desirable. The developer will be responsible for developing and trouble shooting low level code such as kernel code, kernel drivers and C code libraries. Linux kernel development device driver development is a must. Experience from mobile handheld devices is a major plus. Experience from consumer electronics. Experience of mobile client development is a plus. 1. Debug, design and develop code such as kernel, and device drivers 2. Work with lead developers and project managers in an iterative project to develop cutting edge applications. 3. Troubleshoot and debug applications and work with CM and integration team to secure release of applications and software product. 4. Experience of Linux kernel and device driver is a must 5. Java/OHA or other mobile OS experience is a major plus 6. GIT source control experience is a major plus 7.
