I was working on a calculator app and ran into this issue. A field can
be specified as numeric (this limits the field to 0123456789 and I think
the decimal point). In my calculator I wanted to allow negative numbers
so I used standard text fields. In the API there is a key code for

thanks for the information. The company in question was ah.. somewhat
disappointed that their favourite application would not run à la 64 on the
z800 (z/VM 4.3, SLES8). I hope this happens soon, as they are a recent
