Hello Rafael,
Thanks for your work.
Have you sent all patches to upstream? Once this is done, please
propose a MR at:
https://salsa.debian.org/samba-team/samba
(with cherry-picked commits, with "-x")
Those may go in Debian 10 buster.
Thanks again

Thanks for your report. Reading the source of cifs-utils and linux, I
don't find where the dollar sign is unescaped.
As a workaround for pma_mount, you may use a wrapper command.

This has already been reported as #886333. I proposed a patch
upstream, but don't have time yet to finish it.

Dear Maintainer,
Section 2.2.2 says "Debian buster has AppArmor enabled per default", which
is right. But most profiles are in complain mode.
Maybe something should be written about it?

Hi,
Didn't knew about this. Thanks for your report!
Dear SSSD team, what do you think about using alternatives for
/usr/lib//libwbclient.so.0.14?

I'm OK with this path and understand your rationale. However, I try
ot;smbd profile not loaded"
I don't have the complete path but the profile name in this file:
$ sudo cat /sys/kernel/security/apparmor/profiles | grep smbd
smbd (enforce)
I don't know much about Apparmor, is this a bug in the script or a
behavior difference under Debian?

Hello,
As Louis said (in
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=912193#25), please
ask on the samba mailing list, and add a pointer here.

h 2:4.5.16+dfsg-1. Maybe fixed on buster (2:4.9.4+dfsg-3)? It
looks like https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12863 fixed in
4.7.12.
