Hello,
I am a subscriber to the debian-security-announce mailing list.
The Upgrade instructions section of each email contains instructions
for apt-get instead of aptitude which is Debian recommended package
manager.
Is there any special reason?

They say upstream that ticket #1902 (this bug: #518792) is a duplicate
of ticket #1957 which is solved. This seems like a misunderstood.
