Hello now I understand what is happening. Nautilus reads preferences in
'org.gtk.settings.file-chooser.preferences.show-hidden' but never writes
back to this entry when the value is changed.
If one had once used a file chooser and set he hidden visibility to true
then it can not be changed

Actually the Regexp looks better if it is
/home/[^/]+?/\.local/share/Trash/
instead of
/home/[^/]+?/Trash
For 0.10.5 that would make a patch like this
