Anyone know how to config IBM Ultrium Tape 2U Autoloader 3581 with amanda ?
I would like to propose an idea for the Amanda wishlist. Assuming there
aren't enough items on that list already...
What I would like to see is the option of simple encryption of backup
tapes. I'm not looking for over-the-wire encryption or client side
encryption, I just want my tapes to be

Amanda schedule backups and coordinates running them. Period. All
communication with loaders and tape drives is via standard OS utilties.

reporting. However, when I ran amrestore, I got amrestore: reached end
of tape error. So I went back to check the log file:
