Of note is the fact that addView and removeAllViews are only available
in android 2.1, release 1 and up!

Do you have the exact name of that widget? I cant find it in the
market by searching for News and Weather *, and would love to take a
look..

Google's 'News and Weather' App came pre-installed on my Nexus One. So not
sure if its available on the market. It is named as I've stated. The version
I currently have is 1.2.02 - RC2.
