Did widgets work in a SD installed application? According Android javadoc it seems that can work:
App Widgets Your A <file:///C:/java/android/docs/guide/topics/appwidgets/index.html>pp Widgets will be removed from the home screen. When external storage is remounted, your App Widget will *not* be available for the user to select until the system resets the home application (usually not until a system reboot). But I tried in my application and if it's moved to the SD the widgets disappear from the home screen and also from the list of available widgets and it is not possible to add another time. (I tested with Nexus S with 2.3.2 with reboot included) I read also in StackOverflow an entry saying that widgets didn't work on sd http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4747395/android-widget-from-sd-card They work or not?
