·        Sr. Linux Administrator with one of my clients, Norton Healthcare.
They are seeking someone for a 12+ month rolling contract. *This role is
fully remote, but the candidate must live in either Kentucky or Indiana.*





Here is the job description:



 Sr. Linux Administrator for effective provisioning, installation,
configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and
related infrastructure. This is a 12 month rolling contract.



Responsibilities:

• Provision, install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software,
and related infrastructure

• Participate in technical research and development for continuing
innovation of the infrastructure

• Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and
related procedures adhere to organizational and industry standards

• Plan and respond to service outages and other problems

• Perform scripting or light programming, project management for
systems-related efforts

• Mentor other team members

• Must be comfortable with creating, completing, and maintaining
documentation on all data center systems

• Assist in recruiting, interviewing and choosing qualified candidates,
including qualifying candidates from an interpersonal perspective and
quantifying the candidate’s knowledge from a technical perspective



Qualifications:

• *5 years in an Enterprise Linux environment with emphasis on
RedHat/CentOS*

*• Working knowledge of RedHat Satellite*

*• Working knowledge of bash and Python scripting*

*• Working knowledge of VMWare*

• Proficient with all hardware platforms in use and the relationships
between the disparate data center systems such as storage area networks,
ethernet networks, routing, tape backups, etc.

• Additional knowledge not required
