Yep, and I get it. I'm only referring to actual assp.pl code that takes
actions based on type TXT

That's in the package that performs RBL lookups, which doesn't rely on any

The interface says that Default is 5 minutes.
Non-default Settings says it has to be 1 minute
Embargo Time (DelayEmbargoTime)
Enter the number of minutes for which delivery, related with new 'triplet'
(IP address of the sending host + mail from + rcpt to), is refused with a
temporary failure.

Precisely what it says :-) If this is a TXT record keep looking
That code fragment is in in decode_packet, it means we havn't got a

Fair enough if that's how it works, but I did notice bits of ASSP's
code that performed functions against specific type of record found,
and type SPF was not synonimous with TXT.
we do not perform functions against spf (txt) records.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems the behavior for extreme scoring, and
the export file, has changed a few times - and since it's been a while
since I looked at the PB config section it looks like it changed again
during one of the revisions. Does the wiki describe the current
operation

OK, if not specifically for SPF - what about the code at line number
~13151 (sub decode_packet)? Specifically:
last unless $type eq 'TXT';
IIRC, I saw 5 or 6 lines that involved TXT records.

I need to re-phrase that. The wiki PB section doesn't address the
