recently using rebuildspamdb 2.9.4.0 (1.0.01) in various servers I have seen
this behavior executing it

rebuildspamdb is not able to extract values from assp.cfg , so using null

That's the point, at least in the case of Mac OS X Server. There
First use a LDAP client of your choice (commandline based are the
best - helps learning the LDAP language/syntax) and test the LDAP
queries for domains and email addresses. The docu of your LDAP server
will help you in first place.
