Thanks for that, I didn't realise that made a difference. I have also had to increase the max_connections in mysql as it hit the default of 150 so hopefully that is the last thing on that end. The only other bdb files are those in tmpDB now so hopefully that's it from me for a while..at least

used it on a cPanel server. ASSP Deluxe had a very useful web interface that allowed you to browse and search the corpus to keep an eye on it. Doing that by hand is much more of a task! We correct mistakes when we learn of them but there's only so many that get reported. All the best, Colin
