Hi all,
V1 development has been stopped in May 2014. Possibly there will be done
some bugfixing until end of 2014.
EOL of V1 is anounced for the 31 December 2014.
Please upgrade to V2, which is and will be actively maintained.

Well... It's always been an open source project, right?
So, if someone else wants to take up maintaining it, or if we just put it
up on something like github where everyone can fork it, it could still be
further developed by any volunteers, right?

It is not easy to switch, for example the latest ASSP v2 wont start on
perl 5.10.1 on debian squeeze (the version before was working fine)
after the latest update and I must downgrade and latest ASSP v1 seems to
be buggy.
Wheezy servers are fine, until ASSP wont start on 5.14

yes - and it won't start on windows 3.1 and DOS 6.2
I can't really remember - but my anouncement that V2 will possibly run,
but is out of support for Perl 5.10, was somehow in 2010/11
even Perl 5.14 is no longer
That might be an issue for me as well - I am still running a PPC Mac for my
(private) mail server with ASSP. I wonder if I can get a recent Perl even
working on that old system. Same for the other components that v2 needs.
Is anyone using v2 on a PPC Mac and can confirm that it's doable with just
