Skype username, and be redirected to my SIP and through that to Asterisk.

If you are totally new to Asterisk I recommend you first read the
Asterisk book and go through the wiki. Both have sections how to install
the various Asterisk components.

I wish to ask a question of the new Motif Channel in asterisk 11.
I successfully compile the binary and run without error. However, when
dialing out, no external connection only ringing.
Any suggestions?
I follow the set up in wiki

The built in (non-programmable) transfer button on the MiTel 5330 does a
blind transfer. Any ideas on how to make it do an attended transfer
instead? Instead of DTMF tones, it seems to send a SIP message to do a
transfer. I've been unable to find a way to change what it does.

If it is truly non-programmable you are out of luck. On my Polycoms there
is a sip.cfg file you can modify and upload to the phone to modify key
functionality.

Hi.
I have a problem with the Caller ID in Ukraine - it is not
coming, but I sure that telco is providing it as a DTMF.
