Check out the “uniqueid” parameter in cdr.conf and cdr_adaptive_odbc.conf.

Hi,
In PJSIP configuration, I thought that from_domain parameter in a
endpoint permits to have two SIP peers with the same usernames with a
different domain.
I've tested at the transport level, I see no changes.
I've also tested with realm parameter in auth configuration, it seems to
change
Thank you a lot Joshua, it works as excepted.
Have a nice week-end.

we use a PHP web page, that takes a few formats, PDF being the most common,
anc convert it to TIFF.
If conversion succeeds we allow to download the TIFF file as a preview.
Then the user confirms and the PHP places a .call file in asterisk spool

Ok, commented out that line. It's still doing it. Reloaded dialplan. Please
don't tell me I have to restart asterisk.

I had that same issue but I use SIP not IAX. What I ended up doing was
adding a SIP CALL ID field in custom_cdr module and setting it in the
dialplan.

Syslog is still receiving the messages, but is discarding them.
Nice to learn a new (to me) feature of rsyslog.
What does 'logger show channels' show?

Still doing it. And the messages in there (/var/log/messages) are not
just errors. They look a lot like the verbose log entries I'm seeing in
/var/log/asterisk/full
Recall that my original logger.conf had
messages = error
in it.

The line you commented out was writing errors to /var/log/asterisk/messages
The problem you are having is the logging to /var/log/messages via syslog.
It appears that Asterisk is sending verbose logging out to syslog even
though logger.conf does not have syslog configured. I am not sure why
messages = error
states to log error messages to 'messages' log file
