There should be a README.debian file that answers the question:
Q: OK, I installed the bash-completion package. Now how do I start
enjoying its benefits?
I recall seeing a friend or even myself when I was younger doing
$ apt-get --TAB
etc. and seeing all the completions,
unmerge 482383 506560
