The deal was that the heatsink would just take on the temperature of the part 
before the heatsink was added. So we really need the air to take any real heat 
off.

Thanks for the advice on the heat sink and fan. I already have the fan and will 
order up a heat sink (along with some other items) before powering the board. 
Just seems like the smart thing to do.
