My 13-year-old Brewtus III-V has developed another issue. There is now an
initial three-second lag between the time I raise the brew lever and when
the pump activates. However, this behavior only occurs on the *first *pump

I'm considering buying a VTS or IMS basket for my Brewtus III-V, intending
to use it in the same stock portafilter. VST has an "18g Double" with these
specs:
17-19 gram dose
24.2 mm height
60.0 mm outside diameter
58.4 mm tamper
Am I safe in assuming this would fit the OEM portafilter that
to make brew pressure and then no espresso...

I may have been able to extract all of the degraded plastic, but since I
had a new tube that seemed like the path of least resistance.

I am very happy to have found this discussion. The pressure stat on my
ten-year-old Brewtus III-V had been leaking for a while, leaving a small
puddle under the machine and requiring the pump to switch on every 15
minutes or so for a few seconds. From WLL I ordered a new pressure stat and

I'm pleased to report that the machine was repaired and arrived last

I'm posting this in the hope that someone will be able to offer some
advice on how I might get some info on the repair status of my machine
from Whole Latte Love. After the PID failed on my Brewtus III-V (just
inside of the warranty period), I was advised by Whole Latte Love to
pack it up and ship
satisfaction soon. Good luck.

oops sorry! -- I seem to have mis-posted this. I didn't mean to tag
onto an existing thread but rather to start a new one. I will try
again.

still under warranty I think). Upon startup this morning there was no

I'm new to this group and my Brewtus III-v was delivered yesterday.
I'm having a real problem with it. It starts up fine and after a 17-
min warmup the temp is stable at 200F and the brew pressure gauge
reads 10 bars. I can barely pull one shot (45 seconds to extract) and

Well I wasted about $20 worth of coffee thinking that it was a
technique problem before I realized that there was no brew pressure.I
also double checked the behavior of the BPG (an accepted acronym?).
When I turned the machine on again, it crept up to about 2 or 3. Then
