Yes, that's correct. I didn't have a braille-device line in my brltty.conf.
If I read the docs correctly, the default is usb:,Bluetooth:. I paired then
ran systemctl start brltty, and no go. But I ran brltty -d
Bluetooth:, and it worked. I also tried brltty -d Bluetooth:
with no

Are you saying that brltty wasn't autodetecting your braille device AFTER
Thanks, Mario. Yes, I had read the readme, but I missed the fact that I
didn't need a connect command.
For whatever reason, brltty with bluetooth: wasn't auto-detecting my Focus
80. After pairing, I specified the full Bluetooth address to brltty, and it
worked! Autodetect would be nice, but it's
