Grub isn't Linux. Brltty would need to do a bunch of basic things differently,
the same way it has to do them differently for Windows, Android, etc. This, of

when I in a tty all is working as it should. but in X session i get standard
letters from my brl table. xbrlapi of course is running.
my question is, can I input Unicode braille in X?

I had heard of a console tool but cannot remember. I basically would
suggest audacity. Import the file, alt-e (effect), change the speed, and
shoulld work. Optionaly export to a classical audio file
