I have a problem regarding grub and a linux software RAID setup.
Basically, the deal is this.
I installed Redhat 7.2 on two 20Gb harddrives. As I was setting it up I
mirrored the disks using software RAID 1. The disks were setup as:
/hda1 and /hdc1 = /boot (around 43Mb)
/hda2 and
If you THINK you have DOS and Win 3.1 running from ext2, you better
re-check your partition table and filesystems... :)
~ have checked double checked.
1) use Grub to boot DOS from DOS Floppy
2) CD to drive C:\ where Windows 3.1 is loaded on ext2 filesystem
on Linux Partition

I have decided to try grub as my boot loader on my dual boot winxp and redhat7.2 machine.
I decided at install not to use a grub password. I am now wondering how I would add password
protection to the grub login?

I am trying to use grub with RH 7.2 on an ICP u160 raid controller. It is
a raid 1 setup with 2 ibm 9 gig disks. I have installed a few times and
all I get is this:

GRUB
Then it just hangs. I can boot with the boot floppy and check all of the
configs and everything is fine. Any ideas?
