If there's a decade that needs a second-go-round, it's the 50's. I've lived
through retro-60's and retro-70's fadsthe 80's never really left
us...but I could use a little of the the war is over, TV's are here,
let's dance! vibe that permeated the 50's.

Nice. I had not heard of the Jive Aces, but definitely enjoyed it. They
seemed a bit more old timey than a lot of the swing revival bands in the
late 90s/early 2000s and I dig that. Still Jump swing, Louis Prima
influenced, but had some other stuff going on as well. Cool.
It made me think of
I just grabbed Beat Move and Shake from CDBaby and Riverboat Soul and
Middle of Everywhere from itunes.
I like that.
My nephew would be so disappointed I went digital, and not the nice vinyl
offerings.
