It provides basic bind functionality for authenticating a user with an LDAP server - it's not a full OpenLDAP binding, but hopefully it's still useful. Thanks to Moritz Heidkamp for doing most of the hard work. I was halfway through my own implementation when I learned Moritz had a more complete one I could build on.
