In any breed there are the oddball sports so maybe she got a lusher coat from
an ancestor? She has an odd hairy gene..lol. Even top breeders can get a sport
who is a long ago recessive gene that only came out in the 2 dogs bred.

Use a high value treat like cooked chicken or cheese and have him sit when
approached. People can initally toss/drop the food at his feet then when he
seems stable hand it to him without trying to touch.
