With Fruity/Lilac, can you choose to update the config via the CLI as well
as via the GUI, or is the config locked from making manual changes?
I ask because you mentioned repetitive changes not being easy with the GUI.

What does the output of 'show logging queue' look like? Are msgs being
actively discarded? How large of a queue depth is too large -- 2048, 4096,

I haven't updated the sw yet, maybe that will yield some results. I have
confirmed that I can ping the DHCP server from the switch, and vice versa.

ago (bad decision), and are now swapping them out with the 6509-E
chassis due to the need for additional performance (6748s in all
slots).
