Sand to virgin fiberglass and bare metal then quickly apply epoxy using a 3M ScotchBrite pad. The pad will rub off any oxidation that forms. The epoxy will prevent new oxidation from forming. Then slap on 2 overlapping layers of 4" biaxial tape with epoxy. Sand, fair, paint, go sailing.

David, I had a Garhauer triple with cam on my 35/3. Traveller is on the companionway. I used a 7/16 sheet and don't recall any trouble, but the cam block was on the bottom and the line could not fall out. Could the sheet be catching on something or someone or is the sheet is too small? Joel

Andy and Peter, Having worked for Edson, I can tell you that Edson did not make the rudder bearings for C They will generally refer you to a local machine shop or plastics company to have a bearing made from UMWPE (not Delrin which swell when immersed in water for extended time). Tides
