You might like 1/4" thick PVC sheet, comes in 4' x 8' sheets for ceiling panels. Available from lumber yards or Home Depot. One sheet is $70, but it can be cut and sanded and painted like wood, but no splinters, bends easier than plywood, never delaminates. Waterproof, never rots and is

The panels on my 35-2 are white plexiglass, and it is very pretty, especially with the multitude of screw holes around the perimeter of each. Possibly the 36 has a better mounting method. I'd prefer something more forgiving than plexi though, and might just investigate a nice spray finish while

FWIW, Our boat has a speed sensor on centerline just in front of the keel. The depth sensor is next to it and I had to replace both when one went bad. Had to cut larger holes through the hull to fit the newer style sensor sleeves, so I can share some stories. The "speed through the water"

To Piggyback on Alan's Home Depot, I see they have some nice vinyl white Wainscot, you could probably attach it with a lot of self Adhesive velcro. My cabin ceiling is made up of something like that and it looks great overhead, and next to varnished wood.

I already have the transducer. It is a depth + speed combo, so it needs to be on the water. It is part of a wind, depth, speed, temp kit from Garmin. On Mon, Mar 13, 2023 at 6:35 PM Korbey Hunt via CnC-List < cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > Consider an "in hull" transducer. No hole needed.
