Same here - Ordered a gallon of bottom paint from Defender late
yesterday evening, it was delivered today by 3:00 pm. Defender had the
best price i could find.

When I did bow on Zoomer (C 40) back in the early 2000’s we set up our bow
pulpit and the forward two lifeline stanchions just like that to keep the jib
on board during a douse. It was pretty effective.

To clarify: I am very safety conscious as a mostly solo sailor. I have
jacklines and safety tether on my boat, but I usually only deploy them when I
know it is going to be rough. It is hard to set up in the middle of a race
when you were expecting mild conditions. Like Chuck, I have a setup
thanks all! Lot to think through, measure more then twice and drill once!
