They are saved in evolution files in the root home directory. I don't remember the exact path, but it's something like:
~root/.evolution/memos/memos.evo -- Magnus Alvestad - Seniorkonsulent Webstep Mob: 982 98 004 - http://www.webstep.no Oslo - Bergen - Stavanger - Trondheim
