the same here, I have the sources installed, too.
But the issue here is not missing sources but illegal characters in symbol names.

Since 6 days when starting gnome, I have an error message saying that
gnome can't start preferences manager and that it will try to start it
next time.
It failed also to load applets ( desktop switcher, ... ) except the
clock.
