The bug still occur with current updates. I note that I always prefer the X
login prompt of LM 9.0. Which really avoided to use the mouse.
A suggestion: why not using

This is a problem from the dm you use (kdm or gdm or xdm) not from drakxtools.
Could you please tell which one you are using to reaffect the bug to the right
