I have to hard reboot the machine. I have not tried with other kinds of pcmcia cards since I do not have any. Restarting pcmcia or inserting cards doesn't cause problems. This did not happen in MDK 9.0, but I am not sure when the problem first appeared. However, I think it may have been at the same time hotplugging was introduced. Computer: Acer 340T laptop. Cards: Linksys WPC-11 and Proxim RangeLAN-DS.
