It is not added to the terminals menu.
After I installed konsole manually it was added to the menu.
Why isn't this installed by default, esp on a KDE install?

The previous version of K3B 0.8 opened up much faster.
Indeed. It takes almost 1.5 minutes to start on my Athlon
XP1800+ machine.
