Hallo, does anybody out there has any experiences with enlightenment 16.6 or 17 on mandrake 9.1? Or does someone know some special tips? Because I use Enlightenment always I don't want to replace my existing one (16.5) with one that doesn't work... Thanks, Friedrich Preuss

e17 is as different from e16 as kde1 was from kde2, maybe even more. I knew, I allready tried it on an test-system. It would surprise me if you can install them next to eachother So I will again try it on my second system... ps. some rpms for e17 (which don't work for me)

Hallo, I tried to install the e17 rpms from http://people.mandrakesoft.com/~lenny/e/RPMS/ So far so good..but e doesn't start, i figured out that the efsd couldn't connect to fam, but I started xinetd and enabled fam for it ... the same on 2 different 9.1 systems here. I would say it's either
