We are looking for *Cisco Engineer/Network Engineer.*

*Keyskills - CISCO, MPLS, NAT, BGP, RIP*

   - MPLS: Candidate should have a good understanding of MPLS technologies.
   Wich includes, MPLS working concepts, MP-BGP, VRF, RD, RT, L3 MPLS VPNs.
   - Candidate must have hands on experience ie Design , Configuration,
   Troubleshooting skills.
   - Candidate needs to have a strong understanding and working concepts of
   NAT, BGP, RIP.
   - NAT: Be familiar with Static and Dynamic NAT, NAT order of Operations,
   NAT with route-maps etc
   - BGP: BGP concepts, path selection, BGP Route Reflectors,
   Confiderations, BGP on CE routers.
   - RIP : RIP on Cisco CE routers and RIP in general.
   - Candidate needs to be familiar with Configuration and Troubleshooting
   in the above area.
   - Client is looking for Advance to Expert level.
   - Candidate needs to know OSPF but need not be an expert.
   - Should have Network testing concepts ie how to use Test generators,
   come up with test plans etc.
   - Understand LAN Switching ( STP , trunking etc).
   - Cisco Operations Engineer
   - Resident Engineer - Routing and Switching Operations

This position is a highly technical role, providing post-sales on-site
support of Cisco Network Products. The Resident Engineer will be required to
develop and maintain an expertise on the products deployed within the
Customers network and certification processes. This is a full-time on-site
role at the customer location and requires the resource to have a strong
knowledge and experience with Routing Protocols.

*Responsibilities *

   - Hold design and information gathering workshops with the customer to
   understand the customer's existing network design and technical
   requirements.
   - Understand the customer's organizational structure and become familiar
   with the customer's network implementation and support processes and
   procedures.
   - Carry out testing of new features and functionality required by the
   customer in a laboratory environment and to implement and verify that they
   are operating correctly in the live network.
   - Test patches and fixes to operating software and to ensure that they
   are implemented and functioning correctly in the live network.
   - Troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open and track cisco
   tac cases through to problem resolution.
   Raise equipment Return to Manufacturer Authorizations (or Return
   Materials Authorization) (RMAs) and to track these through to problem
   resolution.
   - Produce a written summary report of the status of equipment and network
   problems on a regular basis to the customer.
   - Hold technology workshops with the customer to discuss equipment and
   network problems, and to provide case status updates, including the reasons
   for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions that are
   being tried.
   - Train the customer's design, implementation and support personnel to
   configure and operate the Juniper Networks products.
   - Assist the customer to develop Network Operating and Equipment
   Operating Procedures.

*Required Experience*

   - Detailed technical experience in the Design, installation and operation
   IP routers.
   - Required experience with OSPF, ISIS, BGP.
   - Experience working on a large Scale Service provider network a plus.
   - Detailed understanding of the protocols surrounding IP service provider
   networks. These skills should include: TCP/IP fundamentals
   IP subnetting and supernetting and hierarchical routing principles.
   - Routing protocol operation (OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP-4),
   - Routing policies at BGP peering points, e. VPNs and the associated
   tunneling technologies (L2TP, MPLS, etc.),
   - A detailed understanding of Layer 2 protocols and technologies such as:
   ATM, Frame Relay, POS, DS0, DS1, and DS3, PPP, PPPoE, and PPPoA.
   - Strong Interpersonal skills, Team Player, Hands-on configuration and
   operational knowledge of CISCO, Juniper Networks, and/or Nortel Products.
