*The manager said he wants the person to have some Altiris experience but also this position could encompass Unix/Windows more -would prefer someone who is more so direct operating systems experience* *ITIL Release Coordinator * Will be responsible for tracking and managing components through Integration, Testing, and Release in support of Server Management *Will be responsible for working in the Altiris Server Management Suite to create collections and reports * Will be responsible for compliance scripts to ensure fleet is compliant to standards * Will be required to provide 3rd level expert support to server support team * Create and review detailed technical documentation * Experience working in complex project teams helpful * Experience with Altiris Server Management Suite * Experience with ITIL configuration management and release * Experience with raising and approving change controls and understanding change control best practices is required * Former GSK experience is preferred. * Must be highly organized and have above average written communication skill * Expertise in Server Operating systems (Windows, Solaris, RHEL, ESX) •Measures performance and impact of service by metric development, collection, monitoring and reporting •Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management •Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision •Develops and presents recommendation, explaining and clarifying results •Track and monitor all related server content change requests •Ensures that each change request has appropriate supporting documentation for your assigned release •Progresses all change requests through each approval stage •Interfaces with component owners to agree change development activities •Raises change requests for each approved change and progresses through to implementation closure •Interfaces with engineering for availability of new or changed build components •Establishes, maintains and communicates the server release schedule ======================== Santhosh santh...@catamerica.com ramu.catamer...@gmail.com 201-255-0319 Ext 274 * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "DATAWAREHOUSE VENDORS" group.
